By registering, you are agreeing to the following Terms & Conditions. Cancel the membership / Do not register if you do not accept any of the Terms & Conditions stated below.

Definitions:

“We/Us/Our/DTC/Carituition.com” refers to DTC Global Management / Carituition.com

“You/Your/He/She/Tutor” refers to an individual or entity that provides tutoring services

“Customer/Client” refers to student / parents / guardians

“T&C” refers to Terms and Conditions

ELIGIBILITY

18 years old and above

Must have appropriate academic qualification, good grades in the subjects that you wish to tutor. Experience in teaching or tutoring would be an added advantage.

SUBSCRIPTION FEE

 There is no Registration or Subscription Fee for members at this moment.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

It is your duty to keep your personal profile update and accurate at all time.  Carituition.com reserves the right to amend/remove any of the tutor’s record at its discretion

VERIFICATION / AUTHENTIFICATION

Tutor agrees to produce all the relevant documents for verification (eg. academic certification, credentials, identity card, & etc) to the customer/DTC upon request.

CODE OF CONDUCT

The Tutor must teach, behave and dress professionally when on duty to fulfill the duties/image as a tutor.

Tutor should stay clear of conflict and do not discuss matters that are sensitive, such as religion, race & etc.

REFERRAL FEE

A  " One Time" Referral Fee will be payable by you (Calculation Method : 50% of the Monthly Fee. Eg.: Mthly Tuition Fee =$180. Referral Fee= $90). Any payment made for services and/or products already provided are non-refundable.

Referral fee must be paid to DTC within 2 week after the commencement of the first class.

If the referral fee is not received by the due date (2 weeks after the commencement of the tuition job), your account will be suspended and disciplinary action will be taken (which may include, but not limited to, suspension of all the referred tuition jobs.)

DISCLOSURE

 
DTC reserves the right to disclose tutor’s identifiable information to 3rd parties (which may include, but is not limited to, the police, regulatory, government authorities & etc.) where a complaint / dispute arises concerning your dealing.

By registering for DTC services, tutor gives us the right to reveal your contact / profile to potential / existing customers for this purpose.

TERMINATION / CANCELLATION / RESCHEDULING OF ASSIGNMENT

In the event where you are unable to attend the tuition job, prior notice of 48 hours before the lesson must be given to the student / parent unless in the case of an emergency.

 
If you fail to notify and provide a valid reason of your cancellation, your registration as a tutor with DTC will be revoked and an administration charge of 50% of the monthly tuition fees will be imposed.

 
The minimum commitment period is 1 month.  In the event where you terminate an assignment within the first month, DTC has the rights to recover its legal share of commission fees from you even if you have not received the full month tuition fee.

 
If the student prematurely terminates the tuition job during the first month, you need to pay us the agreed % of the fee you received from the client. However, if the reason for termination is due to your fault as a tutor, (eg. Chronically late, not well prepared, unsure of your materials, do not behave professionally), you agree to pay DTC the full referral fee base on the monthly fee agreed.

 RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN PARTIES

The using of Carituition.com services do not create any employment, partnership, joint ventures, agency or  franchise relaltionship  between the parties . Tutor is solely responsible for setting fees, arranging tutoring schedules, paying all taxes on income earned, and all other issues and responsibilities related to tutoring.

The Tutor   has the Absolute Right to conduct his/her own assessment before Accepting / Rejecting / Discontinuing the new / existing tuition job. This is also to say that the tutor does not need to accept all the tuition jobs assigned. He/She will make his/her own decision and be fully responsible for it.

The tutor further understand that the use of DTC service is at your own risk and you will not hold DTC liable for any loss or damage incurred as a result of any such dealing.

Limitation of Liability

The tutor agrees to fully indemnify DTC for all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs and expenses suffered by DTC; resulting from your provision of services to the customers.

DTC will not be liable for or act as an arbitrator for any conflicts or disagreement that arises between tutor and customer. However, we are always prepared to offer our views and suggestion.

While DTC shall use reasonable endeavours to verify the accuracy of any information; we make no warranties, whether express or implied in relation to its accuracy.

DTC has the right, but not the obligation, to obtain feedback from customer. We may investigate any complaints and take any action that we deem appropriate.

MODIFICATION & AGREEMENT 

The Terms & Conditions may change from time to time by listing the latest T &C on the site. Such modifications take immediate effect unless otherwise stated.  It is your responsibility to regularly check whether the T&C has changed. You must immediately stop using our services if you do not agree to any of the T&C. Your continue usage of our services following the listing of our latest T&C will constitute binding acceptance of the change.

These T&C (as amended from time to time) contain the entire agreement between DTC and you. No oral explanation or oral information given by either DTC or Tutor shall withhold alter the interpretation of these T&C.

TERMINATION

Tutor has the absolute right to terminate this contract by informing the management. Notification from DTC will be given upon receipt of notification.

 
Carituition.com has the right to terminate/temporary suspend a tutor’s access to all or any part of carituition.com without any reason given.

 
Tutor fully agree and understand that DTC may discontinue operating caritutition.com and terminate this Agreement without any further notice.
